Beyond Building

What you will Learn

In this module you will take the full-stack application you built and push it out into the real world: connecting it to outside services, letting it collect money, and putting it live on the internet. You will start by extending your back end with Supabase Edge Functions, learning what serverless functions are, how CORS controls what a browser will accept, and how to evaluate, read the documentation of, and integrate third-party APIs like the PokéAPI and the Dog API, all while keeping secret keys out of your front end. Next you will learn how payments work with Stripe, building a mental model of the Payment Intent, Stripe Elements, and webhooks, then directing a multi-agent Claude Code architecture, made up of a Supabase agent, a UI agent verified with Playwright, and a supervisor agent, to implement a one-time donation flow. Finally, you will learn what DevOps is, how CI/CD and a main / dev / feature branch workflow keep a project healthy, and how to deploy your React front end to Vercel, your Edge Functions to Supabase, and your Stripe webhook to a live URL. By the end of this module you will be able to integrate external services, handle payments securely, and ship and maintain a live, full-stack application while staying in the role of planner, director, and reviewer.

Lessons

  • Lesson 1 - Third-Party APIs: Understand serverless functions and CORS, then direct Claude Code to build Supabase Edge Functions that integrate external APIs while keeping secret keys protected.
  • Lesson 2 - Stripe: Learn how Stripe payments flow between the client, the server, and webhooks, then orchestrate Claude Code sub-agents to implement and verify a one-time donation feature.
  • Lesson 3 - Development Operations: Learn how DevOps, CI/CD, and Git branching keep a project healthy, then deploy your front end to Vercel, your Edge Functions to Supabase, and your Stripe webhook to production.
