What you will Learn

In this module you will put Claude Code to work building a complete, full-stack application from the ground up, while staying in the role of planner, director, and reviewer. You will start with the front end: planning an application with user stories and wireframes, understanding the roles of React, Vite, and Node.js, and directing Claude Code, Skills, and MCP servers to build and test a Single Page Application. Next you will give your application a memory by learning how relational databases work, designing a data model in DrawSQL, and bringing it to life in a cloud-hosted Supabase PostgreSQL database that Claude Code manages through MCP. From there you will connect the two halves, learning how RESTful APIs and CRUD operations move data between a UI and a database, testing Supabase's endpoints in Postman, and orchestrating front-end and Supabase sub-agents to integrate everything into a full-stack application. Finally, you will learn how authentication and authorization work, compare session-based and token-based approaches, and implement Supabase Auth with Row-Level Security so your application knows who its users are. By the end of this module you will be able to plan, direct, verify, and secure a full-stack application without needing to write every line of code yourself.

  • Lesson 1 - Single Page Applications: Plan an application with user stories and wireframes, then direct Claude Code, Skills, and MCP servers to build and test a Vite + React SPA.
  • Lesson 2 - Relational Databases: Learn how relational databases are structured, design a data model with DrawSQL, and build it in a cloud-hosted Supabase PostgreSQL database connected to Claude Code through MCP.
  • Lesson 3 - Full Stack Applications: Understand RESTful APIs and CRUD, explore Supabase's endpoints with Postman, and orchestrate Claude Code sub-agents to connect your React front end to your Supabase back end.
  • Lesson 4 - Authentication: Understand how authentication and authorization work, then implement Supabase Auth across your database and React application with Claude Code.
